The Little Mermaid with Macedonian Translation app for iPhone and iPad

The popular fairy tale "The Little Mermaid" was written by Hans Christian Andersen in 1837. The original story follows the young mermaids journey through love and sacrifice as she is willing to give up her life in the sea and her identity as a mermaid to gain a human soul and the love of a human prince.The mermaids adventurous nature and curiosity leads her out of her comfort zone in the deep, blue waters. Her curiosity wins over her fear as she gains courage to explore the unknown world of humans, experience first love and even strive to gain a soul. This timeless story comes alive through hand-drawn illustrations that follow the mermaid on her journey to finding out how to truly feel alive and love selflessly.

The illustrations are by the Macedonian-born artist Biljana Kroll and the story is translated in both English and Macedonian. The beautiful piano music was played by the Bulgarian-born master pianist Lilia Stoytcheva.
